Babymama Pamela Jacinto

I am a mom of a 9 month-old baby boy, Paco Miguel Jacinto. He’s indeed our bundle of joy, our little miracle after 13 years of trying to conceive. He’s a very active and healthy baby. I exclusively breastfeed him and he is not used to bottle feeding. He’s a comfort feeder so I still nurse him a lot, as in a lot! Thank God for my heavy supply of mother’s milk! I even get to donate every now and then. Every breastfeeding session with him is such a memorable, loving bonding experience that I will hold dear forever. Plus, I always get support from my family, friends, and social network. I have experienced a lot of difficulties but the toughest one for me was having engorged breasts. I would have high fever and chills, and body aches that would make you just want to go to sleep but you have a baby to nurse every hour. What I did was I visited a doctor specializing on breastfeeding and she gave me tips on how to address engorgement. I know that breastmilk can give him a strong immune system, a healthy digestion, and all the nutrition he needs to develop. It can also provide us a special bond to last a lifetime. I thought to myself that since I’ve waited this long (13 years!!!) for this baby, I might as well give him the best!
