Babymama Jeraldine Yanga
I am a mom of two kids. I have a 3 year old daughter and a 6 months old son. I decided to breastfeed my baby simply because mother’s milk is the only best for babies. My firstborn child was only breastfed for 2 weeks. I struggled with low milk supply, the pain and wounded nipples. I gave up and switched her to formula right away.
To my secondborn child, breastfeeding became my frustration. The result is a more patient and determined mom to breastfeed her baby. This time, I am more knowledgeable about breastfeeding facts. Social media has a great influence and impact too. I have been exclusively breastfeeding my 6 months old son now. I am a stay at home mom. I co-sleep with my 6 months old son since I am breastfeeding him directly.
When I wake up in the morning, my daughter and I will take our breakfast together. Then, I will also prepare veggies for my little one. After a while, I will take my son to bath and after him the next one is his ate. Then, I will prepare for our lunch. Of course, playtime will never be out of the routine. I will wash the dishes and clean the house as long as I have a time to do it all. Household chores maybe put on the latter. I spend more time with my daughter and son.
We’ve been practicing feed on demand and direct latching. The whole afternoon, we’ll just play and have a bonding. Then dinner comes in, we’ll wait for their daddy to come him from work. Again, cleaning and decluttering before we sleep. I am the last one to sleep since I am preparing for the next day.
