hi there sisies! just wanna share my spectra3 experience. Bought mine last fri nyt (july 21,2017) and it already on my hand yesterday, monday (july 24,2017). So indeed it was a very fast and smooth transaction considering weekends and my provincial location. And thank babymama.ph for that.
And with regards to the pump today is the very first time i tried it and the result was very satisfying. I gave birth via CS last july 6, 2017 and really fully decided to go exclusive BF. But im not that sure if my little boy is getting enough milk every feeding time. i used to have DR. Brown manual BP which i was able to express at least 40-80ml of milk but it takes almost an hour for me to do it not to mention its tiring way considering that i have to pump it manually. But today just wanna share how happy i am got the same amount of milk output but with just 15mins…. dramatically more convinient for a mom like me. Sharing this feedback in hope to help other mommies to decide wether to purchased or not. Like my case a bit hesitance at first but reading feedbacks here make me finally decide to buy one… its a bit pricy but considering other leading brands its more affordable and the performance was i think never will be far with other much expensive brands. So just wanna thank babymama.ph and momsies who share their experience here… By the way it is so easy to use and assemble i dont read much on the manual cozmfor thats a bit tricky i just gone to youtube wher i found a video instructions ofcourse courtesy of babymama.ph its much easy to understand. Plus if you need some spare parts in the future its good to know its also available with babymama.ph. thank you so much your shop and product was a BIG help for moms like us! Will definitely recommend you to friends and others for good services and quality products!

I’ve been using babymama spectra 3 for a month now..very rewarding kahit may kamahalan..at sulit ang paglakbay ko from Shaw Blvd to your factory. (Just to share how i went there). It’s a good investment para sa mga newbie moms like me if you plan to have more than 1 child..and if you want your babies to be healthy.. Planning to buy a second electric pump yung portable so i can pump anywhere every 2-3hrs. Thanks babymama especially sa nagdemo sakin how to use the ebpump..not sure if you’re Ms Miann..I’m one among the happy and satisfied breastfeeding moms.

Satisfied customer here! Was very happy because of the fast transaction. Ordered Spectra 3 last Friday and received it the next day. My baby had jaundice because he doesn’t want to latch for I have inverted nipples. Glad I was able to find the perfect match to feed my little one. Spectra does not just give me convenience but it provides me a sense of assurance that I can have enough milk supply for my son. Definitely will recommend Babymama to my friends! Also, thanks to Ma’am Miann for being so accommodating. God bless Babymama! More power!

“To breastfeed my baby” is what every mother’s goal, my ultimate goal. It is what I yearned for.

From the time I was pregnant, I already knew that my nipples, being small and flat, would be an issue – and it is. When I gave birth on July 30 (2015), my baby finds it hard to latch directly. She needs to suck vigorously, which she patiently manages to do so since Day 1 to 14. Unfortunately when she reached Day 15, she undergone nursing strike. I could not blame her; but, I could not let her hunger either. I have the best milk for her, all what she needed – breast milk; I will utilize it no matter what. When the problem arises, I tried to pump manually and I am firm that I wouldn’t gave her formula milk (yet). I was able to express and she successfully bottle fed. So we continued the process just for her to continually feed with breast milk.

However pumping manually was very tiring and frustrating. I was only able to express 2-3 oz. (lucky to make 4) in 30 minutes per session. I was always worn out. I knew I couldn’t last long with this whole manual pumping thing and the result wouldn’t be enough in the long run; hence, I pondered on. If I am capable to express manually why not do it in a more convenient way – electronically, electric pump it is. So thru thorough research, thank God I found an answer – Babymama.

But there are tons of electric pumps. To put in consideration are: single or double, what brand, the price, and the specifications. After comprehensive assessment, Spectra 3 is the most appropriate one. It is double electric, affordable (though a bit pricey still), built for exclusive pumping, and user-reviews were good too. Still hesitation occurred: What if it didn’t worked out? What if my milk supply won’t last? Is it worth to spend on? Would it be just a waste of money? Many questions, undeterminable answers, yet one goal – to give her the best milk. Thus I took the risk, purchased, and invested. It was Day 18 (August 17, 2015) when the item arrived, the end of my 3-day stressful manual pumping.

When first used, the result is the same 2-4 oz. per session but in a shorter duration of 20 minutes and, indeed, the convenience it offers – just turn the switch on and you’re good. I strictly pumped every 3 hours / 8x a day. The same amount of expressed milk lasted for a couple of weeks and I am starting to worry. My baby’s intake was increasing but my milk supply was not; but, it didn’t stopped me even if it means rigorous and constant pumping plus malunggay soup consumption (the capsules didn’t worked for me). A week later, my expressed milk increased to 4-5 oz. per session. Considering I have established my milk supply, a month later I gradually lessen my pumping session to 6x a day so I can get some leisure time. Then another month up to current, I am down to 5x a day having to express a minimum of 6 oz. per session, having to yield 25-30 oz. per day. It never occurred to me it could be this plenty that I am even able to build a stash.

With this abundant blessing, I am not only capable of providing “liquid gold” to my baby but to other babies as well. Yes, I am blessed enough to share. A total of 43 storage bags donated as of to date – and still counting. The answers to my former questions are now determinable:
    – What if it didn’t worked out? It will work! Have faith.
    – What if my milk supply won’t last? It will last, just don’t stop pumping.
    – Is it worth to spend on? Undoubtedly!
    – Would it be just a waste of money? Nooo!

But then sadly, this method of exclusively pumping or EPing doesn’t seem to get the acknowledgment it deserves. Many people think it’s an absurd idea as “why bottle feed breast milk”. As if breast is for breast milk and bottle is for formula. Surely there are irreplaceable benefits of nursing a baby directly from the breasts, but isn’t it that the breast milk itself is irreplaceable regardless of the method of delivery? Besides EPing is not 100% easy and effortless; you must exude patience, determination, perseverance, and self-discipline which are possessed not by all nor will all be willing to sacrifice for. So we, mothers who choose to exclusively pump, are very dedicated to do our best for our precious babies. Therefore when I am asked if I’m not breastfeeding seeing my baby bottle feeding I would proudly answer “”It’s my breast milk, I’m pumping.””

I could not thank God enough; together of course with Babymama, my Family, and my Spectra 3 – for being my breastfeeding buddies. The fruit of my labor is a beautiful and healthy 3-month and 23-day old baby.

    Gratefully yours,
    Joice Pauline Legaspi-Constantino

Thank you Miss Mi’Ann! Actually, I’m doing great with my Spectra 3 now. My daily milk output has gone up since I started pumping milk at work 3x a day 🙂 I’m expressing an average of 10 ounces a day, compared to the 3 ounces I used to have before. I’ve been showing the pump to my female friends to encourage them when they get pregnant again.

Maganda sya and affordable. With manual pumping I spend about 45 minutes just to pump 2 oz of milk but with spectra 3 I can do it in about 10 minutes. Tska I can pump even if katabi ko si baby kasi tahimik sya, mas maingay pa actually yung manual pump na gamit ko dati.

Ang bilis ng transactions, 3 days lang inantay ko for the machine to arrive.

Only thing I don’t like is the rubber tubing kasi yung material nya ang daling kapitan ng alikabok, so I need to wash it everrtime kasi medyo parang lumalagkit.

    PROS
    – cheaper compared to other dual electric breast pump
    – fewer parts to clean
    – portable
    – powerful and adjustable suction strength
    – comfy kahit walang silicone massagers
    – may ilaw yung power switch
    – easy set up at madaling gamitin

    CONS
    – medyo maingay at ma-vibrate
    – medyo mabigat
    – i think may tendency na ma lose thread ang knob for adjusting suction strength kasi walang start at end point
    – madaling kapitan ng dumi at dust ang tubes kasi parang silicone-rubber-gelly thing ang texture
    – isang frequency lang at no let down mode

    WARRANTY
one year warranty on breast pump only. i forgot if its service warranty only or includes spare parts. i haven’t tried to claim it yet since wala pa naman akong na eencounter na issue since i started using it earlier this month. i hope its not a hassle when claiming the warranty.

HENCE, it serves the purpose as a quality breast pump. i was able to build my freezer stash before going back to work. though, i can make it with a manual pump, syempre lesser time kasi dual electric. i bought this because it is cheap and comfy. i dont mind the weight since i just leave it in the office. im just worried since it vibrates too much that it almost fell when i was pumping and the motor is on top of a glass table. also, im hesitant to use it on my desk in the office since its a bit noisy. eitherway, we have our mother-care room. im just lazy to go there even if its just a few steps away but i don’t have a choice since the fridge is there!

For an inexpensive double electric breastpump, ok sya. Pero if I knew na wala palang pang-adjust ng frequency, I would’ve invested in a more expensive one na meron. it still doesn’t compare to Medela, Ameda, and other well-known brands (ewan ko lang sa Avent, di ko pa na-try). I’ve been using this since baby#3 was born 4 months ago. If you’re planning to have more kids, I recommend buying Medela. Sorry if I’m not a big fan of this product as the others. Pero since I’ve already bought this, I might as well keep using it until I decide to wean.

    PROS:
-not so noisy, even while the pressure is high
    -change suction pressure easily
-not as expensive as other brands
-easy setup, and not complicated to use
    -portable (well, karamihan naman)
-pretty comfortable even without the silicon masagers
-the switch is lit when turned on. So dahil tahimik nga sya na machine sometimes I forget to switch it off when I finish pumping. the light on the switch helps to remind me it’s still on 🙂

    CONS:
-the #1 con IMO is that there’s no option to change the frequency. Ok pa un sa first few weeks ni baby kase di pa sya mabilis mag-suck, pero eventually you’ll be needing to change the frequency den kase masmabilis na ang letdown.
-the rubber tubes easily accumulate dust if you leave it in the open (eh tamad pa naman akong magligpit kase alam kong gagamitin ko naman mayamaya ulet) I don’t know why they used the kind of material they used for the tubes 🙁
-separate filters that are hooked up on to each tube. to prevent backflow daw. if you are using the machine the way it’s supposed to be used at hindi ka malikot there shouldn’t be any backflow problem. tapos may maiiksing connector tubes na baka mawala pag nagliligpit.
-short tubes!!! Walang masyadong range of motion. So mahirap magmultitask

Would I recommend it to a friend? er, No.
Would I recommend it to a “”gipit”” friend? Maybe.

BOTTOM-LINE: You get what you pay for. It’s not the best breast pump out there, but it’s definitely not the worst. Yun nga – ok lang.

Hope this helps when you’re making your decision 🙂

I was too anxious few days before I was about to go back to work because I was not able to buy a quality breast pump in order to aid me in feeding my daughter while at work. However, I tried so hard to search for local online shops and thank God because I encountered Babymama! I was able to buy a reasonable-priced breast pump with high quality. Honestly, I was searching for the expensive breast pump thinking that it will be more durable but my Spectra 3 is durable enough (and very affordable, too) that I can produce what my baby needs for the entire 8-hour period that I am away.

i love my Spectra 3!!! i’ve been a super satisfied user of this pump for more than 5 months now. before, i was contemplating whether to buy a more expensive pump but i’m glad i stuck to this. because of this pump, i’m able to express and bring home 12-15oz. per day to my baby (around 4-8oz. per session, 2-3 sessions per day). my baby enjoys my milk even when i’m out or at work. i’m proud to say i never had to feed formula. and it really is a great pump – easy to use, easy to clean, i can bring it anywhere, it’s efficient, and best of all, it’s super affordable! although i must say pumping/expressing breastmilk really has a learning curve. overtime, i think my supply has increased because of this pump because it empties the breasts effectively. my only qualms about this pump is the moisture that gets into the tubes/filters. but this has not affected the pump’s performance so can’t complain really. i also love my babymama pump pag (will make a separate review of this). thank you, babymama, for being such an accommodating seller! 🙂

    Hi!

I used the pump this morning and I was surprised with the result. I timed it to 10 mins and I got 3 oz of milk in one breast. The suction strength really works and it gets out milk easily. I’m off to a good start. Thanks again.

Update: I am proud to tell you that I was able to express 5 oz every 3 hours today. 15 oz already! Yay! Thanks to Spectra! It works wonders!

I usually get 1-2 oz lang for both boobs na yan. Though some friends told me na ok lang daw since my baby feeds almost every hour… but now i have proven na puede palang mas marami ang output ko through pump even if maya’t-maya naka latch si baby. Fisher price ang brand ng manual pump ko.

I tried the pump this afternoon and i was able to collect 5 oz of milk in less than 10 mins. A lot better than my manual pump. : )

And I guess the tea and fenugreek has something to do with my increased output too. : )

This new pump is going to be a great help for me talaga since I’m building my stash of bm na in preparation sa pagbalik ko sa work. : )

Recently, even so before I gave birth, it always disturbed me thinking of how am I going to have my baby drink my breast milk especially that I only have 2 months for my maternity leave and since I left work a month earlier than my due date, I only have a month to personally breastfeed my baby. After a month of giving birth, I was already worried and actually cramming to find a good pump. I have a manual pump before which I occasionally use two years ago and it gave me an impression to never use manual pumps again because of the pain it brought to my breast during expressing milk. Until finally, I come across babymama’s site. And I was so happy reading the reviews that electric breast pumps don’t cause you pain due to the adjustable suction strength. And I’m so much happier to have ordered Spectra 3 from Babymama because apart from being more affordable compared to other electric breast pumps, Spectra 3 offers you dual pumping which is very efficient and saves time. Although the pump’s motor is quite bulky and heavy (The whole thing weighs 1.4kg), this pump is worth recommending. And from a scale of 1 to 10, I would give an 8.

And as for the site itself (babymama.ph), it’s definitely worth recommending. The owner (Ms. Miann) is so accommodating, considerate and thoughtful. She granted my request of shipping my order for the next day delivery even it’s already near the courier’s cut-off time. ( I was so happy and thankful of that Ms. Miann.) And when the package arrived the next day, I was surprised of some items included in the package which at first I thought I wouldn’t be using.

Anyway, thank you so much for including an ice pack Ms. Miann. At first I thought I wouldn’t be using it because I have a gel type ice pack (thermafreeze) which the staffs from Makati Medical Center’s pharmacy also included when my husband purchase 2 vials of Rhogam vaccines for my pregnancy.

By the way, during my 28 weeks of pregnancy, I was cramming preparing my husband’s flight and all the things he would need for the purchase of Rhogam vaccines (You would need 2 Rhogams when you’re bloodtype is an RH negative like O negative, A negative, etc. and your husband’s bloodtype is a positive RH). I was searching the internet like crazy looking for an ice replacement because the airliner will not allow an ordinary ice inside the plane during flights. (You see, I’m living in Cebu.) Until I found out that I must find a gel type ice pack but the sites that I found was all foreign sites and the shipping cost is a more expensive than the ice pack itself, so I just told my husband to buy a dry ice if it’s available at Makati Medical. But thankfully, when he got there the pharmacy staff included a gel type ice pack for my Rhogams.

HOWEVER…if I had known about this site at that time, I would SURELY buy your ice pack Babymama! It would have saved me a lot from worrying about my Rhogam vaccines not being cold and effective.

BTW, I’m using your ice pack now that I’m back to work because my previous ice pack from Makati Med’s pharmacy is not usable anymore, I guess I overly freeze it for 3 months or maybe the ice pack itself has only 3 months life expectancy.

Anyways, thank you again Babymama. Your products are really worth recommending.

just wanna share my one-week experience with spectra 3… before, I spent 45mins to an hour using manual pump: sakit na ng hand ko and back ko tapos konti lang milk, cramming pa ako prepping for work in the morning. now, with spectra 3, 15 mins lang, daming milk and I have time pa to play with my baby. dinadala ko pa ito sa work kahit medyo bulky, worth it naman. i also observe na my milk supply is increasing kasi nauubusan na ako ng bottles for storage i won’t regret purchasing this product coz it works well and saves a lot of time. pangarap ko kayang breastmilk ang inumin ng baby ko hanggang 2 yrs old and sana matupad ito with the help of spectra 3.

I sooo love the spectra pump! Before, when i was using my manual pump i would express 2 oz only in each session. So at the end of the day i would only bring home 4 oz. it was frustrating and a whole lota difficult. But when i first used the spectra pump i was able to express 5 oz in one go! I was so surprised! Now i’ll be able to bring home 10 oz to my son. Hopefully i’ll slowly be able to exclusively feed him breastmilk soon. I was worried before because i thought i was not giving enough milk for Gio. But i realized im expressing enough milk for him. I’m so relieved and happy! Really really happy! 🙂 i’m hoping i’ll be able to express enough to donate some.

My baby only latched on after 10 days. I was forced to pump my milk using a single electric pump. it was so hard! I was pumping almost every hour to meet my baby’s demands! I contacted Babymama (Ms. Mi’ann)for the Spectra 3 and she quickly responded that the pump is ready for pick-up anytime with advice on how i could get my baby to latch on. My milk supply increased using Spectra 3. It is affordable but really really efficient! Less than 2 months after giving birth, I was able to produce twice as much that my baby needs. So it’s now drink all you can for baby and I was also able to help other babies as well by donating the extra milk. =)

Before buying an electric pump, I have spent weeks reading reviews from blog posts, forums etc. I stumbled upon Babymama’s website and found this excellent pump at a very affordable price. I thought I won’t be able to afford an electric pump since all the electric breast pumps with good reviews are very expensive and way beyond my budget. When I found out that this can be used for dual pumping, I was beyond ecstatic. It’s small and easy to carry around and the motor is not noisy. Miann (Babymama) has been very helpful answering my inquiries on this product and all my inquiries regarding breastfeeding. All in all I totally recommend this product for all breastfeeding moms and I recommend buying from Babymama to get good service and quality products! 🙂
