SMA^® Gold Prem Breast Milk Fortifier is a nutritional supplement to be added to expressed breast milk for the dietary management of preterm low birthweight babies. It helps to provide the particular nutrient requirements of preterm low birthweight babies including extra protein, energy, calcium, omega 3 and 6, and vitamins A and E. Breast milk supplemented with SMA^® Gold Prem Breast Milk Fortifier better meets the nutritional needs of low birthweight preterm infants than unsupplemented breast milk.

SMA^® Gold Prem Breast Milk Fortifier should only be used under the medical supervision of a healthcare professional. It is not suitable for use in infants with diagnosed cows’ milk protein allergy, lactose intolerance and metabolic congenital diseases such as galactosaemia/glucose-galactose malabsorption or for vegetarian diets.
